What prompted you to begin Pilates?
Jeff started Pilates and then invited me to join him. I thought it would be a good addition to my fitness routine.
How many years have you been practicing Pilates?
I started Pilates in 2004 after Jeff had done some private instruction and was ready for classes.
What are some of the most influential or important reasons you continue with your Pilates practice?
I have continued Pilates because I enjoy the classes and I feel it has helped my physical fitness. Jeff and I enjoy doing Pilates together.
How has Pilates effected your life?
I think Pilates has helped to ward off the slouching and shrinking that comes with osteoporosis.
What is your favorite Pilates exercise? and why?
I enjoy the Leg Work, Upstretch and Elephant on the reformer as it provides great stretching and strengthening. The jumpboard on the Reformer is also a favorite. I love that because it is such a great workout.
