What prompted you to begin Pilates?
a. Good friends who spoke so highly of Denver Pilates quality of instruction and its positive results
b. Finding an effective and sustaining way to get my cranky knees, neck and pesky posture back in order.
How many years have you been practicing Pilates?
It will be 2 years in August.
What are some of the most influential or important reasons you continue with your Pilates practice?
a. Feeling stronger, taller and more conscious of my body.
b. Being able to enhance and wellsustain my active physical activities.
How has Pilates effected your life?
a. Becoming more aware of my posture, breathing and everyday movements allows, more and more, for the opportunity of a conscious connection between my body, thoughts and feelings.
b. Experiencing more flexibility, strength and balance provides a certain sense of confidence and capability.
What is your favorite Pilates exercise? and why?
The Hundred. It has a real sense of accomplishment and it is a challenge to be able to experience the core strength this exercise requires – to try to stabilize the elements involved, including coordinated breathing.
